Abandonware are games or software that are still copyrighted but isn’t supported anymore by the copyright holders. It’s pretty much software that’s doomed to dissapear and become forgotten if the many abandonware sites wouldn’t exist.
WHAT ARE ABANDONWARE SITES?
Abandonware sites such as Abandonware Blog want nothing to do with the so called warez sites. We don’t promote illegal distribution of games or software, all we want to do is prevent the thousands of forgotten games to be gone forever. Every single download provided by Abandonware Blog or any other (good) abandonware site will immediately be removed if the current or new copyright holder starts selling it again.
